I am an author. First published in 2020, my fiction centers the rich, layered, luminous interior lives of Black American women — not as a theme, but as a universe. The Goddess Journal series, dys[FUN]ction, its 2026 sequel rec[OVER]y, and a growing catalog of standalone fiction and poetry. Stories that don't ask permission to be exactly what they are.

And I have never been only that. For decades I've worked as a strategic advisor to leaders and organizations navigating the hardest questions — about culture, about how to get things done, best practices on moving people, processes and policies from good to great. My consulting practice through shiiift is where that work lives.

I've also contributed to civic programs and municipal governance across the country — not as a policy theorist but as someone with hands in the work. Board memberships, philanthropic program design, community-centered initiatives. Public service as a practice, not a credential.

And when people need space to return to themselves — Atlantis Retreats is what I built for that. Every platform, every domain, every body of work flows from the same source.
